Comprising two distinct parcels, one nestled in silt beneath Château d’Issan and the other rooted in gravel and clay beneath Château Margaux, Monplaisir epitomizes terroir diversity. Predominantly Merlot-based, with nuanced contributions from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this delightful cuvée undergoes primary aging in tank, with a mere 10% maturation in cask.
